Andy Gump Unsolved Mystery

Got a call Sunday morning about an Andy Gump turned on its side on Barrington Avenue. Was upright on Friday night then early Saturday morning, there it was laid out in the street. Hopefully nobody was in there because toilets are not the business I want to get into. I passed on the job.

Today I got lost under a house in Santa Monica and my gracious host Norman the Labradoodle was no help to be honest. We were just hanging out in his yard. Nice place. He mentioned there were some toys underneath the house. Recon mission definitely peaked my interest. He showed me the way in, just about three inches under a deck.  I managed to flatten myself and then I went for it. Turned out to be more trouble than it was worth. Came up empty and that was after getting discombobulated under there. Thanks alot Norm.

Breaking through my writer's block

I had a literary breakthrough last week. The first paragraph of my first chapter finally came to me. I think I had let the pressure get to me and every time I sat down in front of my laptop in my doghouse -- I saw nothing. I think, no I know, I've got a good intro now.
